Buddy B. Stokes II, DO, FACOI

Dr. Stokes grew up near Athens, Alabama and attended the University of Alabama where he received a B.S. in Biological Sciences. He then attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and had the opportunity to complete his third and fourth year clinical rotations in Dothan. After medical school, he moved to Danville, Virginia where he completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine and served as a Chief Resident during his last year of training. He has been the Medical Director for Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan since 2020 and is also a Medical Director for Enhabit Hospice. He is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and was named a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists in 2019.

Dr. Stokes enjoys attending University of Alabama football games, Atlanta Braves baseball, playing golf, reading, and spending time with his wife, Cynthia, and daughter, Barbara Gayle.
