Dr. Carlos S. Clark II is a Eufaula native who joined Southern Clinic in 2013. Dr. Clark completed his residency at Montgomery Family Medicine Residency Program, Montgomery, Alabama, where he served as chief resident. He graduated from St. Matthew’s School of Medicine in Grand Cayman, British West Indies. He also holds an MBA from Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Clark is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is certified in Advanced Life Support Obstetrics, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He is medical director of the Dothan branch of AlaCare Home Health and Hospice, and he is an officer with the Houston County Medical Association.
He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Southern Medical Association.
Dr. Clark is also a 1st Degree Black Belt in World Yoshukai Karate. He and his wife, Jennifer, a dental hygienist, have three children.
