Joseph Braswell was born and raised here in Dothan and graduated from Dothan High School in 2006. He went to Wallace Community College for two years and played baseball for the Govs before moving to Troy to pursue a degree in nursing. After graduating from Troy in 2011 with my bachelor’s degree, he began working as a nurse at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in the Critical Care Unit. While working in the unit, Joseph decided to begin working toward my dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. He received his Master’s Degree from Troy University in 2014 and began working at Southern Clinic not long after graduation.
Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife, Jordan and two boys Hudson and Briggs. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf.
